Marsh Carney Saddlery is a group of 3 large retail stores located in Scone, Tamworth and Dubbo. The stores carry some of the most recognised brands and equipment in the equine industry including, Cinch, Ariat, Wrangler, Resistol, Ezyride, Wintec, Bombers and Breyer just to name a few, as well as our own custom made saddlery.

Available Positions:

Marketing and Sales Coordinator

The Role:

This new role is a ‘get your hands dirty’ kind of role. You will be active in the grassroots sales and marketing of three prominent saddlery stores and a growing webstore. The role is vast and varied. This is a full-time role and will include regular travel between store locations and to trade-shows.

Primarily located in any of our three stores and working directly alongside the family owners, you will enjoy autonomy and support within your role.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial/sponsorship deals
  • Demonstrated marketing experience in a niche market
  • Demonstrated sales experience
  • Equine interests / pursuits / experience
  • High level computer and IT literacy

Desirable Skills:

  • Developing and maintaining a robust marketing plan
  • Maintaining and monitoring budgets and KPI's
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools including social media, email campaigns, website tools etc
  • Proficiency in the development of print media for use in POS displays, catalogues, business cards etc
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on market trends and competitor activity
  • Merchandising experience
  • Execution of direct selling and marketing strategies
  • Administration of cloud-based webstore
  • Use of cloud-based POS
  • Assisting training existing staff in sales and marketing techniques
