Marsh Carney Saddlery is a group of 3 large retail stores located in Scone, Tamworth and Dubbo. The stores carry some of the most recognised brands and equipment in the equine industry including, Cinch, Ariat, Wrangler, Resistol, Ezyride, Wintec, Bombers and Breyer just to name a few, as well as our own custom made saddlery.

Available Positions:

Store Manager - Dubbo

The Role:

This role is a broad and varied customer service role, and as such requires a strong sense of time management, ability to prioritise tasks and exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills. Reporting to the company directors, the Store Manager must aim to promote growth in the sale of goods through our retail outlet by ensuring that customers receive the best service possible.

Located in our Dubbo outlet, you will be working directly alongside the family owners, you will enjoy autonomy and support within your role.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated sales and/or retail experience
• Equine interests / pursuits / experience
• Good level computer and IT literacy
• Availability to ensure the store is open from 9:00am- 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am-1:00pm Saturday, and any additional hours that may be required to ensure the best advantage is taken of events in the stores area.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
• Inventory management skills
• Networking skills in developing new sales channels. You will become a brand ambassador, leading customers to the business through networking, local area marketing and promotions, brand presence at local events, and other innovative avenues
• Use of cloud-based POS
• Assisting training existing staff in sales and marketing techniques
