Leather Cavesson

The Reinsman Leather Cavesson is designed to last and handmade in Yoakum, TX, with heavy oil leather that will hold up over time. A cavesson is used with a headstall to help to educate a horse not to open his mouth to escape bit pressure and other queuing. The hanger allows you to set the noseband to the right height for your horse, and the noseband is adjustable to set the right fit for your horse.

Placement
The cavesson should go under the headstall and should be tight enough to do its job without being too tight. We recommend leaving about 2 fingers worth of space between the noseband and your horse when tightened.
